The Baldor-Reliance motor is a robust 250 HP unit operating at 1188 RPM with a three-phase, 60 Hz power supply and a 449T frame size. It features a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) design, heavy gauge steel and cast iron frames, and roller bearings for heavy belted loads, though it is not suitable for coupled loads. The motor incorporates ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant®) copper windings and low-loss electrical grade lamination steel, ensuring durability and efficiency. It has a Class F insulation rating and a 1.15 service factor, making it ideal for continuous or frequent duty applications. The Super-E motors are particularly designed to conserve energy over extended periods. This motor is inverter rated per NEMA MG1 Part 31.4.4.2 and is suitable for variable torque applications, offering a 20:1 constant torque speed range when used with properly sized and adjusted variable frequency drives. It is backed by a three-year warranty.
