The Baldor-Reliance motor is designed for robust performance with a 5HP power rating and operates at 880RPM, suitable for three-phase applications at 60Hz. It features a 254T frame and is constructed as TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled) with a 1.15 service factor. The motor's construction includes a corrosion-resistant epoxy finish, regreasable ball bearings, and an oversized rotatable cast iron conduit box, along with a Forsheda® shaft seal for added protection. Additionally, it features moisture-resistant copper windings, Class F insulation, and a stainless steel nameplate along with corrosion-resistant hardware. The motor is tropicalized, making it ideal for use in typical applications such as petro-chemical plants, mines, foundries, pulp and paper plants, waste management facilities, chemical plants, and tropical climates, where protection against corrosion from severe environmental conditions is crucial.
