The Baldor-Reliance motor is a 1.50 HP, 865 RPM, 3-phase motor designed for operation at 60 Hz, featuring an L184T frame and a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) construction. This motor has a service factor of 1.15 and includes a corrosion-resistant epoxy finish, regreasable ball bearings, and an oversized rotatable cast iron conduit box. It is equipped with a Forsheda® shaft seal, moisture-resistant copper windings, and Class F insulation, and is designed with a stainless steel nameplate and corrosion-resistant hardware, making it suitable for tropicalized environments. Typical applications for this motor include petro-chemical plants, mines, foundries, pulp and paper plants, waste management facilities, chemical plants, tropical climates, and other processing industry applications that require protection against corrosion due to severe environmental operating conditions.
