The Baldor-Reliance motor is a 40 HP, 3540 RPM, 3-phase, 60 Hz model with a 324 TS frame, 1244 M enclosure, and a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) design. This motor features heavy gauge steel and cast iron frames, ball bearings, ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant®) copper windings, and low-loss electrical grade lamination steel. It is designed for applications that require continuous or frequent duty and is part of the Super-E series, which offers energy conservation over extended periods. The motor is class F insulated, has a 1.15 service factor, and is inverter-rated per NEMA MG1 part 31.4.4.2, making it suitable for variable torque applications and constant torque speed ranges when used with properly sized and adjusted variable frequency drives. The motor comes with a three-year warranty.
