The Baldor-Realiance motor is a robust 15HP, 1765 RPM, 3-phase motor designed for demanding applications, featuring a 60Hz frequency and a 254T frame size. This TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) motor includes a 15 service factor, a corrosion-resistant epoxy finish, and regreasable ball or roller bearings, ensuring longevity and reliability in harsh environments. It is equipped with an oversized rotatable cast iron conduit box and features a cast iron frame for structural integrity. Additional attributes include a Forsheda® shaft seal, moisture-resistant copper windings, Class F insulation, and tropicalization, making it suitable for tropical climates. The motor also has a stainless steel nameplate and corrosion-resistant hardware, providing enhanced durability. Typical applications include petro-chemical plants, mines, foundries, pulp and paper plants, waste management facilities, chemical plants, and other processing industry applications that require protection against corrosion in severe environmental operating conditions.
