The Baldor-Reliance motor is a 1 HP, 1725 RPM, single-phase (1 PH), 60 Hz motor with a 56 YZ, 3524 L frame, designed for tough environments due to its Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) construction. This motor features a mechanical protection system for the centrifugal switch to prevent damage during overspeed situations and includes manual reset thermal protection housed in an oversized conduit box. Its farm duty epoxy paint and thermal cover provide additional protection against harsh conditions. The motor also has an extended shaft (fan end) equipped with wrench flats to facilitate manual jogging of an auger, and a NEMA 56 N flange that connects seamlessly to the drive or gear box assembly. It is ideally suited for typical applications such as poultry feed auger drive systems.
