The Baldor-Reliance motor is a .75HP, 1750RPM, DC, 56C, 3528D, TEFC model designed for various industrial applications. It features a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure, shunt-wound design, and Class F insulation, making it suitable for use with NEMA type K SCR control. The motor offers a 20:1 constant torque speed range, except where noted, and includes a NEMA C-face along with a removable base, with the exception of explosion-proof models. The base is welded on the type 3513D only, and NEMA 182 and larger models are equipped with a thermostat featuring normally closed contacts on the field winding. It is important to note that there are no dual mounting base holes on the 35D, 75D, or 91D types. Typical applications include conveyors, printing, textile equipment, machine tools, and other equipment that requires variable speeds with constant torque.
