The Baldor-Reliance motor is a 3 HP, 1755 RPM, 3 PH, 60 Hz, L182TC, TEFC, foot-mounted induction motor, designed, manufactured, and tested to exceed the IEEE 841-1994 standards for severe duty applications. Key features include premium efficiency copper windings utilizing Baldor-Reliance ISR (Inverter Spike Resistant)® magnet wire, which complies with CEE efficiency guidelines. The motor is equipped with an Inpro Seal® on both the fan and drive end shaft extensions, and it is coated with a 2-part yellow epoxy oxide primer on the inside and outside, along with gray epoxy paint and corrosion-resistant hardware. The design minimizes noise, vibration, and mechanical tolerances, and final test and vibration results are included with the motor. Typical applications for this motor include the petro-chemical industry, pulp and paper plants, mining operations, and other environments demanding premium efficiency motors manufactured and tested to rigorous standards for severe duty service.
