The Baldor-Reliance motor is a robust 10HP, 1760 RPM, 3-phase, 60Hz model with a 215TC frame and a 0748M designation, featuring a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) design. This motor is designed, manufactured, and tested to exceed the IEEE 841-1994 standards for severe duty applications. It includes premium efficiency copper windings made with Baldor-Reliance ISR (Inverter Spike Resistant)® magnet wire, which complies with CEE efficiency guidelines, and is equipped with an Inpro Seal® on fan and drive end shaft extensions. The motor is protected with a 2-part yellow epoxy oxide primer both inside and outside, complemented by gray epoxy paint and corrosion-resistant hardware. Additional attributes include reduced noise, vibration, and mechanical tolerances, with final test and vibration results shipped along with the motor. Typical applications span across petro-chemical plants, pulp and paper industries, mines, and other installations that require premium efficient motors built to strict standards for severe duty service.
