The Baldor-Reliance motor is a .333 HP, 1750 RPM, DC motor with a 56C frame and model number 3413D, featuring a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) enclosure and a shunt wound design. It is equipped with Class F insulation and is specifically designed for use with NEMA Type K SCR control. The motor offers a 20:1 constant torque speed range (except where noted) and includes a NEMA C-face and removable base, although this is not applicable for explosion proof models. The base is welded on Type 3513D only, and NEMA 182 and larger models feature a thermostat with normally closed contacts on the field winding, while there are no dual mounting base holes on 35D, 75D, or 91D types. Typical applications for this motor include conveyors, printing, textile equipment, machine tools, and other equipment that requires variable speeds with constant torque.
