The Baldor-Reliance motor is a robust 250 HP unit operating at 3575 RPM, designed for three-phase (3 PH) and 60 Hz applications, featuring a 449 TS frame and a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) construction. It is specifically engineered, manufactured, and tested to exceed the IEEE 841-1994 standards for severe duty TEFC induction motors. The motor incorporates premium efficiency copper windings utilizing Baldor-Reliance ISR (Inverter Spike Resistant)® magnet wire, which complies with CEE efficiency guidelines. Additionally, it features an Inpro Seal® on both the fan and drive end shaft extensions, a two-part yellow epoxy oxide primer applied on both the inside and outside, and gray epoxy paint coupled with corrosion-resistant hardware. The design minimizes noise, vibration, and mechanical tolerances, with final test and vibration results included with each motor.
