The Baldor-Reliance motor is a 150 HP, 1785 RPM, 3-phase, 60 Hz unit with a 445 T frame and a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) design, featuring a robust construction ideal for severe duty applications. This motor is designed, manufactured, and tested to exceed the IEEE 841-1994 standards for severe duty TEFC induction motors. It incorporates premium efficiency copper windings utilizing Baldor-Reliance ISR (Inverter Spike Resistant)® magnet wire, which complies with CEE efficiency guidelines. The motor is equipped with an Inpro Seal® on both the fan and drive end shaft extensions, and it is coated with a 2-part yellow epoxy oxide primer on the inside and outside, coupled with gray epoxy paint and corrosion-resistant hardware. Additionally, it features reduced noise, vibration, and improved mechanical tolerances, with final test and vibration results provided upon shipment. Typical applications for this motor include petro-chemical facilities, pulp and paper plants, mines, and other installations that require premium efficient motors adhering to rigorous standards for severe duty service.
