The Baldor-Reliance motor is a 40HP, 3540RPM, 3-phase, 60Hz motor with a 324TS frame and 1256M insulation class, featuring a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) design. It is built to the 841XL specifications and includes an upgraded electrical and mechanical design with NEMA Premium® efficient winding. The motor is equipped with Inpro/Seal® VBX bearing isolators for frames up to 210, and VBXX bearing isolators on both the fan and drive end shaft extensions. Its epoxy paint provides an IP56 rated enclosure, complemented by stainless breather drains and proprietary cast iron frames that minimize vibration and noise. Additional features include terminal lugs on motor leads, ensuring robust connectivity. This motor is backed by a 5-year warranty and is suitable for typical applications in industries such as petro-chemical, pulp and paper, cement, aggregate mining, and other process sectors that demand premium efficient motors designed and tested to exceed IEEE 841-2001 TEFC motor standards for extreme severe duty service.
