The Baldor-Reliance motor is a 300HP, 1785RPM, 3-phase, 60Hz, 449T, TEFC unit designed for demanding applications. It features heavy gauge steel and cast iron frames, along with roller bearings suitable for heavy belted loads (not appropriate for coupled loads). The motor incorporates ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant®) copper windings and low-loss electrical grade lamination steel, ensuring enhanced performance and energy efficiency. Typical applications include operations requiring continuous or frequent duty, as Super-E motors are engineered to conserve energy over extended periods. The motor is Class F insulated with a 1.15 service factor and is inverter rated per NEMA MG1 Part 31.4.4.2, making it suitable for variable torque applications and capable of handling a 20:1 constant torque speed range when paired with properly sized and adjusted variable frequency drives. It also comes with a three-year warranty for added assurance.
