The Baldor-Reliance motor is a 5HP, 1750RPM, 3-phase, 60Hz, 184TC, TEFC, foot-mounted unit designed for severe duty applications. It is engineered to exceed the IEEE 841-1994 standards, featuring premium efficiency copper windings made with Baldor-Reliance's ISR (Inverter Spike Resistant)® magnet wire, which complies with CEE efficiency guidelines. The motor includes an Inpro Seal® on the fan and drive end shaft extensions, and it is coated with a 2-part yellow epoxy oxide primer on both the inside and outside, along with gray epoxy paint and corrosion-resistant hardware. The design also focuses on reduced noise, vibration, and mechanical tolerances, and comprehensive final test and vibration results are shipped with each motor. Typical applications for this motor include petrochemical and pulp and paper plants, as well as mining operations and other environments that require premium efficient motors that are rigorously manufactured and tested for severe duty service.
