This TEFC (totally enclosed fan-cooled) motor features heavy gauge steel and cast iron frames, ball bearings, ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant®) copper windings, and low-loss electrical grade lamination steel. It is equipped for typical applications where continuous or frequent duty is required and is engineered to conserve energy over extended periods. This Super-E motor has Class F insulation and a 1.15 service factor, and is inverter rated per NEMA MG1 part 31.4.4.2, making it suitable for variable torque applications and a constant torque speed range when used with properly sized and adjusted variable frequency drives.
