The Baldor-Reliance motor is a 5 HP, 3505 RPM, 3-phase, 60Hz unit with a 184TC frame size, featuring a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) design and a footless configuration. It is engineered to meet and exceed the IEEE 841-1994 standards for severe duty TEFC induction motors. The motor incorporates premium efficiency copper windings utilizing Baldor-Reliance's ISR (Inverter Spike Resistant)® magnet wire, which adheres to CEE efficiency guidelines. It features an Inpro Seal® on both the fan and drive end shaft extensions, and is coated with a 2-part yellow epoxy oxide primer on both the inside and outside, along with gray epoxy paint and corrosion-resistant hardware. The design minimizes noise, vibration, and mechanical tolerances, ensuring reliable operation, while final test results, including vibration data, are included with the motor. This motor is ideal for applications in petro-chemical, pulp and paper plants, mines, and other environments that demand premium efficient motors built to stringent standards for severe duty service.
