The Baldor-Realiance motor is a 7.5HP, 1750RPM, 3PH, 60Hz motor featuring a compact square laminated steel frame (FL210-L440) designed for vector duty, while the FL180 model utilizes extruded aluminum. It offers a constant torque ratio of 1000:1 and is equipped with premium class H insulation suitable for a 40°C ambient temperature and a service factor of 1.0. The motor includes three normally closed thermostats (one per phase) for enhanced safety and performance. Additionally, VPI insulation and insulated O.D.E. bearings are standard on all L440 frames. The motor package includes a 1024 PPR hollow shaft encoder with an MS twist lock connector. Typical applications for this motor include test stands, extruders, conveyors, crane and hoist systems, converting, web processing, traction duty, winders, and printing.
