The Baldor-Realiance motor is a robust 15 HP, 1765 RPM, 3 PH, 60 Hz unit with a 256 TC and 0936 M configuration, available in either Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated (TENV) or Totally Enclosed Blower Cooled (TEBC) models. It features full torque at zero speed and offers a constant torque range of 1000:1. This motor supports a power range from 1/3 to 500 horsepower and is constructed from durable cast iron. It comes with a C-face and base mount option for frame sizes 143 TC through 449 TC, while frames 5007L-5009L are base mount only. The motor is insulated with Class H materials and incorporates ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) magnet wire, ensuring it meets the standards set forth in NEMA MG 1, part 31. Typical applications include test stands, material handling, packaging equipment, and printing presses, particularly in scenarios that require adjustable speed operation with full torque from zero to base speed along with constant horsepower to maximum speed.
