The Baldor-Realiance motor is a 20 HP, 1765 RPM, 3-phase, 60 Hz motor with a 256 TC and 0948 M configuration, featuring a totally enclosed blower cooled (TEBC) design. It delivers full torque at zero speed and offers a 1000:1 constant torque range, making it suitable for applications such as test stands, material handling, packaging equipment, and printing presses. The motor has a robust cast iron construction and a C-face with base mounting for frame sizes 143 TC through 449 TC, while it is base mount only for frames 5007L-5009L. It is designed with Class H insulation and is equipped with ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) magnet wire, ensuring compliance with NEMA MG 1, part 31 standards. The motor is capable of operation from 1/3 to 500 horsepower and is ideal for applications that require adjustable speed operation with full torque from zero to base speed and constant horsepower to maximum speed.
