The Baldor-Realiance motor is a 20HP, 1765RPM, 3-phase, 60Hz unit with a 256TC frame and 0948M designation, available in a totally enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) or totally enclosed blower cooled (TEBC) configuration. It features full torque at zero speed and a 1000:1 constant torque range, suitable for applications requiring adjustable speed operation with full torque from zero to base speed and constant horsepower to maximum speed. The motor is built with cast iron construction and includes a C-face with base for frames 143TC thru 449TC, base mount only in frames 5007L-5009L, and is Class H insulated. It incorporates ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) magnet wire and meets NEMA MG 1, part 31 standards. Typical applications include test stands, material handling, packaging equipment, and printing presses.
