The Baldor-Reliance motor is a 3 HP, 1800 RPM, 3-phase motor designed for 60 Hz operation with a 182 TC frame size and a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) foot-mounted configuration. This motor is specifically engineered for inverter operation, capable of sustaining a constant torque speed range of up to 1000:1. It includes provisions for a stub shaft for a hollow shaft encoder, three thermostats, and features an ODE insulated bearing in all 440T frames. The insulation system of the motor exceeds the standards of NEMA MG 1-2006, Part 31.4.4.2. It provides continuous constant torque down to zero speed, making it ideal for various applications such as conveyors, extruders, printing lines, converting, and test stands where a consistent torque is necessary across a wide speed range.
