The Baldor-Reliance motor is a 20HP, 1800RPM, 3-phase, 60Hz model featuring a 256TC frame size and a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) design with a foot mount. This motor is specifically engineered for inverter operation, capable of delivering a constant torque speed range of up to 1000:1. It includes provisions for a stub shaft for a hollow shaft encoder and is equipped with three thermostats. All 440T frames come with an ODE insulated bearing, and the insulation system exceeds NEMA MG 1-2006, part 31.4.4.2. The motor provides continuous constant torque down to zero speed, making it ideal for applications such as conveyors, extruders, printing lines, converting, and test stands, where consistent torque is needed across a wide speed range.
