This device meets the latest UL standard for self-testing and conducts an automatic internal test within 3 seconds upon initial power up, continuously adapting to conduct more frequent tests if potential issues are detected. The slim profile allows for quick installation, while a status indicator light provides clear feedback on power status and protection, including indications of line/load reversal. A patented lockout mechanism prevents the GFCI from being reset if it is damaged and unable to respond to a ground fault, while its electronics are designed to minimize false triggers. The unit is compatible with all Decora devices and wall plates, comes in a light almond color, and is UL Fed Spec WC-596 rated.
