The SmartLockPro self-test GFCI continuously tests itself to ensure reliable ground fault protection, designed to meet the latest UL standard for auto-monitoring. This device conducts periodic automatic internal tests to confirm its ability to respond to ground faults. Featuring the slimmest profile on the market, it enables fast and easy installation. The patented reset lockout mechanism prevents resetting of the GFCI if it is not properly wired or operating correctly. The GFCI provides continuous ground fault protection, detecting and tripping on actual ground faults even during self-tests. Upon initial power-up, it tests the GFCI within 3 seconds. A status indicator light gives clear feedback on power and protection status, along with indications of line/load reversal. The device incorporates patented lockout action to prevent reset if the GFCI is damaged and unable to respond to a ground fault. It is UL Fed Spec WC-596 rated, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Faceplate is sold separately.
