The Leviton GFTR2-E SmartLockPro Self-Test GFCI Receptacle is a tamper-resistant, 20 amp, 125 volt receptacle designed for both residential and commercial applications. It features a 20 amp feed-through and is equipped with a self-test SmartLock Pro slim GFCI that conducts automatic internal tests to ensure functionality in response to ground faults. This heavy-duty receptacle includes a black wallplate/faceplate and a self-grounding clip for enhanced safety. With back and side wiring capabilities, the terminal configuration allows for easy installation, while external back wire clamps provide a visual indication of proper wire seating. The device offers continuous ground fault protection, detecting and tripping on actual ground faults even during self-testing, and adapts to conduct more frequent testing if a potential issue is detected. A status indicator light provides intuitive feedback on power and protection status, including a line/load reversal indication, and it prevents reset if protective functions are compromised.
