The GFNT2-R SmartlockPro self-test GFCI provides continuous ground fault protection by detecting and tripping on actual ground faults even during self-testing. It is designed to meet the latest UL standard for auto-monitoring, performing an automatic internal test within 3 seconds of initial power-up and periodically thereafter, with auto-monitoring exceeding UL requirements. The device auto adapts to more frequent testing if a potential problem is detected. It features a status indicator light that provides intuitive feedback on power, protection status, and line/load reversal. The patented reset lockout mechanism prevents the GFCI from being reset if it is not wired or operating correctly or if damaged and unable to respond to a ground fault. Electronics are designed to minimize false triggers. The unit has the slimmest profile for fast and easy installation and is compatible with all Decora devices and wallplates; it is red in color. The product is UL Fed Spec WC-596 rated. The device includes a standard limited warranty.
