This device conducts an automatic internal test to confirm its ability to respond to a ground fault, performing an initial test within 3 seconds of power-up and adapting to more frequent testing if potential issues are detected. The status indicator light offers intuitive feedback on power and protection status, including indications of line/load reversal.
