The Steel King® SK2000® Boltless Pallet Rack features an upright frame with dimensions of 48"W x 144"H, designated as RTFAG048144F01VG. Constructed from closed steel tubing, the rack columns provide 44 times more resistance to torsional fork truck impact loads compared to traditional open-back roll formed columns. Its tear drop design allows for tool-free installation, offering ease and efficiency in assembly. Each upright frame permits 2-inch vertical beam adjustments, enhancing flexibility. The strategic placement of holes on the column's face minimizes strength loss, while a formed ridge on the column increases cross-section strength and rigidity. Accessory holes on the column's side facilitate the use of bolt-in row spacers and wall ties. The design includes full diagonal and horizontal bracing throughout the upright height and robust 10-gauge footpads welded directly to the uprights, which help disperse the load more efficiently. The footpads feature a ridge for easy nesting of shim plates and multiple offset anchor holes for varied anchor placement. Furthermore, the footpads are aligned flush with the column's sides, ensuring full seating of floor level load beams. Welds connecting the braces and column are full fillet welds, providing superior strength compared to spot-welds. The weight capacity is based on a 36-inch vertical beam spacing.
