The Steel King® SK2000® Boltless Pallet Rack features a 42"W x 192"H teardrop upright frame (RTFBG042192F01VG) constructed of closed steel tubing, offering 44 times more resistance to torsional fork truck impact loads compared to traditional open-back "roll formed" columns. The tear drop design facilitates installation without tools, optimizing labor efficiency. Each upright frame allows for 2" vertical beam adjustments, enhancing versatility. The frames are designed for durability, with accessory holes on the column's side for bolt-in row spacers and wall ties, as well as full diagonal and horizontal bracing throughout the height. Heavy 10-gauge footpads are welded directly to the uprights, effectively dispersing the column load and featuring a formed ridge for easy nesting of shim plates. Additionally, multiple offset anchor holes on the footpad provide flexible anchor placement. The design ensures that the footpads are flush with the column's sides for optimal load beam seating, and the full fillet welds between braces and columns offer enhanced strength. Weight capacity is determined based on a 36" vertical beam spacing.
