The Steel King® SK2000® Boltless Pallet Rack features a 42"W x 216"H Teardrop Upright Frame (RTFBG042216F01VG) constructed of closed steel tubing, providing 44 times more resistance to torsional fork truck impact loads compared to open-back "roll formed" columns. The tear drop design facilitates easy installation without tools, optimizing time and labor costs. Each upright frame allows for 2" vertical beam adjustments and is designed for increased durability and lower maintenance costs, along with improved safety and a longer service life. Holes placed on the column's face reduce strength loss, while a formed ridge enhances cross-section strength and rigidity. Accessory holes on the column's side accommodate bolt-in row spacers and wall ties. The frame features full diagonal and horizontal bracing, heavy 10-gauge footpads welded to the uprights for efficient load dispersion, and a formed ridge allowing for easy nesting of shim plates. Multiple offset anchor holes on the footpad provide flexible anchor placement, and footpads are flush with the column's sides, ensuring full seating of floor level load beams. The welds between braces and the column are full fillet welds for enhanced strength, and the weight capacity is based on 36-inch vertical beam spacing.
