The Steel King SK2000® boltless pallet rack features a 42" wide by 240" high teardrop upright frame constructed from closed steel tubing, providing 44 times greater resistance to torsional fork truck impact loads compared to open-back roll-formed columns. The teardrop design enables tool-free installation, allowing 2" vertical beam adjustments along the column's face to minimize strength loss. The upright frame incorporates a formed ridge on the column face to increase cross-section strength and rigidity, with accessory holes on the column's side for bolt-in row spacers and wall ties. It includes full diagonal and horizontal bracing throughout the frame height, heavy 10-gauge footpads welded directly to the uprights for efficient load dispersion, a formed ridge on the footpad for nesting shim plates, multiple offset anchor holes for varied anchor placement, and footpads flush with the column sides for full seating of floor-level load beams. Welds between braces and columns are full fillet welds for enhanced strength, and the weight capacity is based on 36-inch vertical beam spacing.
