The Steel King® SK3000® Structural Channel Pallet Rack features upright frame columns made of 3" structural channel steel with steel thickness optimized in corner sections for enhanced resistance to forklift impact and increased load carrying capacity and seismic resistance. The upright frames are punched on 4" vertical centers, and beam connections are specially punched to allow vertical adjustability in 2" increments. The frame includes diagonal and horizontal braces constructed from 1.5"x1.5" structural angles welded to the columns. Footpads consist of 7-gauge steel plates welded to each column, designed to efficiently disperse floor loads, featuring multiple anchor holes for easy installation and reanchoring. This rack has a safety factor of L.92:1, with minimum steel yields of 50,000 p.s.i. for columns and 36,000 p.s.i. for balance. All Steel King capacities are based on minimum steel yields, ensuring stated capacities are the minimum expected. The unit measures 36" deep by 192" in height, and capacity is based on 36" beam shelf spacing.
