The Steel King® SK3000® structural channel pallet rack features a 42"D x 120"H upright frame constructed from 3" structural channel steel with enhanced steel thickness in corner sections to increase resistance to fork truck impact damage, load carrying capacity, and seismic force resistance. The upright frames are punched on 4" vertical centers, with beam connections specially punched for vertical adjustability in 2" increments. The frame incorporates diagonal and horizontal braces made of 1.5" x 1.5" structural angles welded to the columns. Each column includes a 7-gauge steel plate footpad welded in place to efficiently disperse floor loads and features multiple anchor holes for installation and reanchoring. The safety factor equals L.92:1, with minimum steel yields of 50,000 p.s.i. in columns and a balance of 36,000 p.s.i. All capacities are based on minimum steel yields, ensuring stated capacities are the minimum and actual capacities are typically greater. Capacity is based on a 36" beam shelf spacing.
