The Honeywell VR8300A3518 is a 24 VAC dual standing pilot gas valve featuring a 1/2 inch x 3/4 inch inlet/outlet with a standard opening and a 3.5 in. wc pressure regulator setting. It serves as a combination gas control designed for use in 24 VAC, gas-fired, standing pilot appliances with capacities ranging from 30 to 300 cfh. This control includes safety shutoff, a manual valve, two automatic operators, a pressure regulator, and pilot adjustment, all within a compact size. The first automatic valve is solenoid-operated and opens on thermostat call for heat, closing when the call ends, while the diaphragm-operated second automatic valve opens under regulator control and closes if gas or power supply is interrupted, ensuring compliance with codes requiring dual safety shutoff. Conversion kits for natural to LP and LP to natural gas are available for both standard and slow opening valves. All adjustments, wiring connections, and the pilot outlet are accessible from the top of the control. The adjustable servo regulator maintains nearly constant gas output pressure despite fluctuations in gas supply.
