The 10-32x1 1/2 Phillips truss full contour machine screw is fully threaded and made of zinc, featuring a truss head design that is preferred for applications with minimal clearance above the head. These machine screws are engineered to pass through a pre-tapped hole or nut, forming a mating thread. Although truss head screws are generally weaker than pan or round heads, their modified truss heads provide low clearance and an extra large bearing surface, making them ideal for attaching metal lathes to metal studs.
