The kit includes 8x5/8 #6 HD Phillips pan high low screws that are fully threaded and made of 410 stainless steel. These screws feature a high-low thread design, which makes them suitable for use in plastic, nylon, wood, or other low-density materials. The unique thread design effectively reduces driving torques, enhances resistance to thread stripping, improves pullout strength, and minimizes the risk of cracking the workpiece. Pan head screws are common and can be substituted in most applications for alternative head styles such as round, truss, or binding heads.
