The 12x4 Phillips flat self-drilling screw features a full thread and a zinc bake finish. These self-drilling screws are designed with a point that enables them to cut through materials, eliminating the need for a pilot hole. The flat head design is particularly suited for applications where protrusion of the fastener above the mating surface is unacceptable, typically with a 100-degree flat angle, though they may also be used with an 82-degree flat angle for fastening softer materials.
