These motor start capacitors are dry, electrolytic, non-polarized types designed for intermittent duty in AC motor starting circuits. The round cases are constructed from moisture and oil resistant molded phenolic resin or plastic, and they feature standard dual blade terminals. They are rated for 3-second start with the capability of 20 starts per hour. The operating temperature range of these capacitors is from 40° to 65°C (-40° to 149°F). They meet or exceed the Electronic Industries Association (EIA) standard RS-463 type 2 and operate at a frequency of 50/60 Hertz. Additionally, they are UL recognized and CUL approved.
