The Supco® Bullet® Piercing Valve is designed for use with 1/2" and 5/8" copper tubing and features a large size for enhanced performance. This valve utilizes a gasket similar to those found under the head plate of most air conditioning compressors. When installed, the gasket compresses the copper tubing by .020", creating a permanent, leakproof seal capable of withstanding various pressures and temperatures throughout the unit's lifespan. The kit includes the piercing valve and all necessary installation components, ensuring compliance with industry standards for reliability and safety.
