The Bi-SS series pneumatic actuator features an all-stainless steel body designed for demanding environments, including the food and pharmaceutical industries. This actuator complies with international ISO and NAMUR standards, facilitating easy mounting to ISO valves. It operates as a spring return actuator, which is air to open and spring to fail closed, and is optimized for an 80 psi air supply. The standard actuators can withstand temperatures up to 180°F, with available options for high-temperature Viton seals. Specifically, the Bi-60-SS-SR actuator delivers a spring end torque of 135 inch-pounds at an 80 psi supply pressure.
