The Master Lock lock features patent pending BlockGuard anti-shim technology, designed to withstand attempts to compromise the latch mechanism. The kit includes a combination chart to facilitate lock system administration and a control key for supervisory access, which can be specified to match an existing system or a factory-assigned key. The lock has a 1-7/8" (48mm) wide double-reinforced stainless steel body that is built to withstand abuse, complemented by a 3/4" (19mm) tall hardened steel shackle that provides extra cut resistance. Its easy 3-number dialing mechanism includes an automatic scrambling feature to prevent the accidental reopening of the lock. All Master Lock locks are not returnable, and purchases may only be made through an official business or organization account. Users must indicate if the lock is for a new or existing key system by selecting "Master Lock" in the drop-down field, and if using an existing key system, the control key number must be specified. A control key must be ordered separately for new key systems, and the master key is sold separately.
