The Master Lock product features patent pending BlockGuard anti-shim technology that withstands attempts to violate the latch mechanism, enhancing security. It includes a combination chart to facilitate lock system administration and a control key for supervisory access, which can be specified to match an existing system or assigned from the factory. The lock boasts a 1-7/8" (48mm) wide double-reinforced stainless steel body designed to withstand abuse, complemented by a 3/4" (19mm) tall hardened steel shackle that offers extra cut resistance. It provides an easy 3-number dialing system with an automatic scrambling feature to prevent the reopening of the lock. All locks are non-returnable, and Master Lock lockers' locks can only be purchased through an official business or organization account. It is essential to indicate whether the lock is for a new or existing key system, and if the latter, the control key number must be provided. A control key must be ordered separately if a new key system is needed. The Master key is sold separately.
