It is constructed with a strong square 18-gauge steel frame, featuring a 7/8 inch square-tube frame and 5/8 inch under-seat and H-braces, complying with ASTM A513 standards. The seat boasts a spacious 2-inch thick Grade A foam padding (1.8 lb. density, 46 ILD) with a double-stitched waterfall-style edge, and both the seat and rounded backrest have an MDF core for added support. The chair is upholstered in easy-to-clean vinyl or institutional-grade fabric, and it includes a built-in handle for convenient moving and stacking. For secure stacking, it is equipped with stacking bars and twelve plastic bumpers to protect the powder-coated frame finish, allowing the chairs to stack 8-10 high with compatible dollies (B449350 or 250801), and it supports a weight capacity of 300 lb.
