The Securall® 26'W x 8'D x 8' 4H Hazmat Chemical Storage Building is designed for the secure storage of hazardous materials, specifically accommodating 48 drums of 55-gallon capacity. This storage solution features double wall, welded construction with a 3-inch airspace, ensuring superior insulation and integrity. The exterior walls are constructed from 12-gauge galvannealed steel, while the interior consists of 20-gauge cold roll steel. It includes a 5' W x 6' 8H double door equipped with a UL classified commercial grade keyed lock set, a 12-gauge steel sump, and heavy gauge forklift channels with open-end construction for accessibility. Additionally, it comes with bolt-down plates (4) featuring 7/8-inch diameter holes for wind and seismic bracing, multiple static grounding connections, and inlet vents for natural ventilation with fire dampers for fire-rated buildings. Hazard labeling is provided with a DOT placard holder and NFPA 704 rating signs. The finish is a two-part chemical resistant aliphatic polyurethane, and the building complies with NFPA Code 30. It is Factory Mutual approved and has UL listed accessories. Furthermore, the electrical installation adheres to both the NEC 2008 and 2011 editions. The type of building required is contingent upon the materials stored or dispensed, with special considerations for flammable liquids in Class IA and Class IB categories, necessitating explosion relief design if applicable. If situated more than 75 feet from a main building or property line, no fire rating is mandated; however, local jurisdiction regulations should be consulted for setback requirements.
