The Securall® 10'W x 8'D x 8' 4"H hazmat chemical storage building is engineered for the safe storage of flammable liquids, chemicals, and hazardous materials in 55-gallon drums, accommodating up to 16 drums. Constructed with corrosion-resistant galvanized steel, this facility features double wall, welded construction with a 3-inch airspace, ensuring durability and compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. The exterior is fortified with 12-gauge galvannealed steel, while the interior is 20-gauge cold rolled steel. Key attributes include a 5' W x 6' 8"H double door equipped with a UL classified commercial grade keyed lock set, a 12-gauge steel sump, and heavy gauge forklift channels. Additionally, it comes with bolt-down plates featuring 7/8-inch diameter holes for securing against wind and seismic activity, multiple static grounding connections, and inlet vents for natural ventilation. The building is labeled for hazards using DOT placard holders and NFPA 704 rating signs, with a finish made of a two-part chemical resistant aliphatic polyurethane. This structure complies with NFPA Code 30 and includes factory mutual approved components and UL listed accessories. The electrical systems are installed per the NEC 2008 and 2011 editions. The type of building required depends on the materials stored, particularly flammable liquids falling into the Class IA and Class IB categories, which necessitate explosion relief design, while those situated more than 75 feet from a main building or property line may not require a fire rating. Custom builds are also available.
