The V46 is a pressure actuated modulating valve designed for operation in both closed and open systems, allowing for versatility in application. It is a direct acting valve that opens with an increase in pressure, making it ideal for regulating the flow of water or glycol to a water-cooled condenser in refrigeration systems. Key features include a design that eliminates close fitting or sliding parts in water passages to minimize chatter or water hammer, ensuring smooth pressure modulation through free movement of all parts. The refrigerant adjustment remains unaffected by water pressure, and the valve is capable of withstanding high hydraulic shock without sustaining damage.
