The Bobrick® Winglet Grab Bar Fastener allows for the installation of all Bobrick grab bars without the need for backing, eliminating the necessity to open or reconstruct walls. This fastener is constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel and is designed for use with 2-1/2" and 3-1/2" or deeper hollow walls, accommodating finished wall surfaces that are 1/4" to 1-1/2" thick. It can be applied to walls with a minimum thickness of 5/8" for painted or tiled drywall, or 1/2" thick drywall accompanied by additional finished wall material. The fastener is rated to support a load of 300 lbs, meeting and exceeding all relevant building code and governmental agency guidelines, including those set forth for ADA accessibility in the U.S.A. It is important to note that one fastener is required for each flange.
