Wilton® Brute Force™ bridge C-clamps are engineered for heavy construction and fabrication, featuring a drop forged frame with a black oxide coating. These C-clamps deliver clamping pressure of up to 40,000 lbs. The spindles are full length, machined from a single piece of square, cold drawn steel that has been tempered and hardened for durability. The square spindle heads are designed to endure heavy wrench tightening, and the extra heavy-duty models are specifically built to meet the rigorous demands of industrial applications, such as shipbuilding. The hot upset square head on the spindle is capable of withstanding higher torque, while the square-head spindle offers a large diameter rolled thread and hardened point for smoother operation and enhanced strength. Additionally, the black oxide coated spindle resists corrosion, ensuring longevity in challenging environments.
