Wilton® Brute Force™ bridge C-clamps are designed for heavy construction and fabrication, featuring a drop forged frame with a black oxide coating that provides corrosion resistance. The clamps can generate clamping pressure up to 40,000 lbs, making them suitable for demanding industrial applications such as shipbuilding. The spindles are crafted from a single piece of square, cold drawn steel that is tempered and hardened for enhanced durability. The full length and square spindle heads are engineered to withstand heavy wrench tightening, while the hot upset square head on the spindle is designed to endure higher torque. Additionally, the square-head spindle incorporates a large diameter rolled thread and a hardened point for smoother operation and increased strength.
